Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Submission guidelines

All submissions are required to be in Microsoft Office Word document with the following layout, fonts, paragraph, formatting and style and settings for blind review.

Page layout

  • A4 (21 x 29, 7 cm)
  • Margins (2,5 cm all sides)

Font

  • Times New Roman
  • Title of the article Bold 14 pt
  • Section Title Bold 12 pt
  • Subtitles Italic and Bold 12 pt
  • Topic Titles (if any) Italic12 pt
  • Main text 11 pt
  • Long quotations 10pt (see APA Style 7th edition)

Paragraph

  • Before 6 pt
  • After 6 pt
  • Line spacing 1,1

Formatting and Style

  • Use APA Style (7th edition) for all in-text citations, reference list, footnotes & appendices, number and statistics, additional resources and tables and figures.

Settings for blind review

  • Before you submit your manuscript make sure that you remove all personal information within the text and from the properties of the document that could identify the authors. After you remove such kinds of information from the text, save your document. Then, to remove all personal information from the file properties follow those steps.
    • Right click your word document
    • Go properties
    • Choose details tab
    • Click “remove document properties and personal information”
    • Choose “ remove all and save a copy”
    • Submit the copied document to the system
